During ITMA 2015 in Milan, SCLAVOS launched their new model Athena3A, which is a further development of previous model Athena3.

Athena3A new features aim towards reducing further water, energy and chemicals consumptions.

In addition, new feature of double rope operation increases drastically machine’s efficiency as well as fabric quality.
Athena3A is equipped also with proper hardware and software for monitoring all utilities consumptions, offering a very useful tool for production costing.
SCLAVOS also presented automation and control systems for creation of a total integrated system in dyehouse operation.

Enlisted among the 500 most dynamic enterprises of Europe (Organization EUROPE’s 500)

Received the 1st prize of Innovative Product. (Ministry of Development of Greece)

The peak of Sclavos innovative applications is the presentation of an entirely new technology in fabric dyeing industry with the commercial name Aquachron, which was incorporated to the new Venus machine. The first generation of Venu machines is being introduced to the market in 1996.
The result of this technology, is the 40% reduction in time and water needs in fabric dyeing, with contemporaneous improvement of quality, compared to conventional technology.
Aquachron technology is already universally considered the most advanced technology in this area and is already included in many Universities and College’s teaching.

In the beginning of the 90’s Sclavos S.A. introduces to the international market a new innovative machine type, named APOLLON TSF, that is a big success and is operating in more than 20 countries all over the world

In 1988 the company makes its first steps in the international market with sales all over Europe

In the beginning of 1980 the company is being radically reorganized, in order to confront the international competition.

As a result of it, the company introduced in the market new models of fabric dyeing machines, able to compete worthily the most developed machines of foreign firms.
So the company’s machines have covered at the biggest percentage the needs of the Greek textile industry during the 80’s, replacing a lot of imports of equivalent machines

Since 1952 started to produce machines, specializing more in the fabric dyeing areas.

Sclavos, named after one of its co-founders, Mr. Spiros Sclavos, was founded in 1948 in order to provide technical service to the rapidly developing Greek textile industry
